There are so many desirable coupes on the market today, it’s rather difficult to narrow the search down. If I had the room in one article to mention them all, it would be the length of a small book. So, in this article I’ll name a few that really stand out to me.One of the best 2-door coupes I’ve seen this year is the Mercedes-Benz SL, weighing in with a 415 hp 5.5L V8. There’s something about the edgy, comfortable layout of the interior and trim that puts it in a class of its own. Not to mention, this beauty has enough get up to get you where you want to go quickly and with ease.
The Corvette Stingray has a 455 hp 6.2-liter V-8 and a seven-speed manual transmission that pushes the car to an awing 0-60 mph in just 4 seconds. This model's transmission is specially tuned to give it a closer ratio. It is also equipped with an electronically-controlled limited-slip differential and a more aggressive suspension making it a monster to get by.
The 2015 Audi S5 is a car full of class and finely tuned performance. The 333 hp V6 is a supercharged 3.0L operating an all-wheel drive Quattro. It should be seriously respected and never overlooked, for the very minute the road surface seems difficult to others, this Audi excels.
The 6 Series BMW is not to be overlooked either. This car packs a considerable amount of comfort. With it's 6-cylinder 3.0L, it has plenty of power to keep the corners. It's 315 hp challenges the road and is a little easier on your wallet, for this Coupe gets as much as 31 mpg.
The Porsche 911, to some, is without a doubt the most beautiful coupe ever introduced to the road. The 911 holds it’s presence with 430 hp roaring out from its 3.8L V6. This car demands respect, and as far as Porsche goes, is the benchmark for success.
If you’re looking to drive a coupe that is seriously entertaining and has excellent performance, begin with our short list. These models are engaging and, at the end of the day, well worth long hours at work of saving up.
