Two legendary names in the automotive and motorcycle industries have joined forces to produce a standout pickup truck. The Ford Motor Company and Harley-Davidson have collaborated to create a special edition of the Ford F-150, featuring a sport suspension and standard 22-inch polished, forged aluminum wheels and tires for an exceptional ride.
The 2010 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 marks the 14th Harley-Davidson edition of an F-Series truck, continuing a partnership that began in 2000. Derrick Kuzak, Ford's group vice president of Global Product Development, stated, "Our successful co-branding, unmatched in the industry, offers customers true specialized truck luxury. Just like with our other associations, we've linked with an industry leader to offer the best of the best."
To date, this collaboration has produced eight F-150 models and six Super Duty models, including the F-250, F-350, and the first Harley-Davidson F-450 edition truck in 2009. The 2010 edition is the first Harley-Davidson vehicle built on the award-winning 2009 Ford F-150 platform.
The 2010 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 boasts a smartly designed front fascia and a six-bar shaped billet-style grille. It features specialized forged aluminum and Harley-Davidson® chrome badging. The truck has a lowered appearance due to a fully integrated deployable running board.
The interior of the 2010 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 is meticulously designed to attract buyers who appreciate attention to detail. The interior and exterior have a distinct tie-in, creating a cohesive and luxurious feel.
Equipped with a 5.4-liter three-valve engine, the truck is rated up to 320 horsepower and 390 ft.-lbs. of torque. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with a sport-tuned exhaust and a top speed of 115 mph. The H-D model is available in 4x2, AWD, and 4x4 high configurations, the latter being unique to this truck.
The 2010 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 is a testament to the successful collaboration between two iconic brands. With its unique design, powerful performance, and luxurious features, it stands out as a remarkable vehicle in the pickup truck market. This special edition truck not only builds on the legacy of toughness associated with the Ford F-Series but also incorporates the bold and distinctive style of Harley-Davidson.
