About Fat Solutions
Established in 1995 by Gary Armstrong, Fat Solutions originally specialised in the creation and selling of bio diesel made from cooking oil. As the business started to take off, Gary required a much larger vehicle to transport the oil, so he passed his operator’s license and bought a 7.5 tonne truck. Still expanding, the company began its transition towards the haulage industry at the request of its customers. Eventually, as the bio fuel aspect of the business started to fade, Gary decided to focus on freight exchange. He began to build Fat Solutions’ reputation as a highly qualified, capable and reliable haulage company – and for that extra bit of help, he joined the Haulage Exchange in 2007.

The Haulage Exchange also has an app which allows you to look for jobs on the go. You can either promote your own availability or look up the location of other members. This is the most effective way of minimising empty runs and maximising profits.
