Mercedes Benz GLA45 AMG to hit Indian roads:Cars for Sale in India

Despite of being one of the biggest auto markets in the globe the absence of indigenous technologies which could stand out from the global competitors in every aspect, disappoints me, even looking at the reluctance of the global auto giants to launch their newest products in the Indian market is something that we can’t boast of, we can see the European market witnessing a bunch of new technologies in form of Paris motor show, be it the carbon conscious fuel saving hybrid technologies or the crash resistant safety features while we can only wonder when those technologies will arrive in India. India is anticipated to become the global third largest auto market by 2020, I hope this could turn the game for Indian market else it would be nothing else than a number. The vehicle that made me think all this is the new Mercedes Benz compact SUV, the GLA45 AMG, and finally MB, India announced that it is going to launch the crossover on 27th October in India, 18 months later from its global launching, although this one here is the facelifted GLA45 AMG.

The GLA45 AMG boasts the same old mighty power-can numbered at 2.0 litres and still managing to provide 355 BHP and 450 Nm torque, this is an I-4 Direct Injection (petrol) arrangement, which is turbocharged and is claimed to be themost powerful series production four-cylinder engine in the worldand is mated to the 7- speed dual clutch, characteristic AMG, automatic transmission. The GLA45 will only be available in the all-wheel drive variant while the vehicle can fetch a top speed of 250 Kmph and 100 Kmph from standstill in impressive 4.8 seconds. The GLA45 AMG features the Adaptive Braking Technology with 19 in twin 5-spoke alloy wheels & 235/45R front and rear tyres, the red callipers give a sporty look to the exteriors as well. While the numbers do sound magical the GLA45 will burn 12-14.5 Kmpl fuel.

The new GLA45 AMG sits lower than its regular version by 15 mm, which means better handling, especially at corners. An all-new package of tuned up independent suspension is also on its way with the GLA45. The large air intakes at the front with grey shades on front spoiler and the quad exhaust with diffuser certainly add to the aggressive styling, opt for a custom rear spoiler and you will explore the extremely sporty exteriors of the vehicle, it does look hot with that aerodynamic and special night package on which provides some add-ons like chrome finishing on front grille etc.On the insides the GLA45 draws attention towards the flat bottomed steering wheel along with contrast stitching, special Mercedes Benz synthetic leather & Faux suede seats having contrast red stitching  on the Nappa leather seat covers with red seatbelts as well & an infotainment touch screen.
