When Toyota introduced the 86 (or Scion FR-S back then), it was billed as a spiritual successor to the AE86-generation Corolla. Thanks largely to its appearance in Suichi Shigeno's popular manga series Initial D, the Toyota AE86 became a cult classic. Initial D tells the story of Takumi Fujiwara, a young man working for his father as a tofu delivery driver. The Toyota 86 Initial D show car is black and white like the original and features 17-inch RS Watanabe alloy wheels, a TRD-tuned suspension, a Fujitsubo sports exhaust, a front strut brace, a carbon-fiber hood, yellow-tinted fog lights, android car gps, and a silver-painted engine. It also gets carbon fiber door handles and side-view mirrors, mud flaps, and tinted rear lenses. The rear spoiler has also been removed to complete the look.
