The first step to getting started is to think about how much money  you really want to earn and how much time are you able and willing to invest in your business.

You need to decide if you are going to offer a service or sell a product. It takes a lot more time and effort to sell retail products. With products, you have to deal with suppliers, mailing cost and your profit would be generally lower. To offer a service, you would normally have to leave your house and invest more time in labor and travel.

Selling software or electronic downloadable products online is one of the easiest ways to earn money from home.

Next your client would need to click on the link in the email letter. The software would automatically download to your client's computer. The full order process is complete.

You have just earned your commission. Most online companies offer their agents a login system so they could check on there commissions 24 hours a day.

There are many different products you can market online. You will have to invest some time online reviewing the different work at home programs.

There are a few points you need to check on before joining any program.

What is there commission rate (50% or higher is good)?

How often do they pay commissions? Once or twice a month is ok. Every 2 months is too long to wait for your money.

How long have they been in business? I generally do not join companies that have been in business for less than one year. If they are new, you could have a problem getting your commission.
