A whole new hoist system has been launched which should solve the problem of how to unload loose material that has solidified during storage and shipment.

It is common for loose,Bulk bag conditioner loosens solidified products Articles shifting powders to be distributed, but one major challenge is how to unload them when they come into the loading bay.
This is because the storage and shipping stages of delivery can cause loose material to becoming compressed and solidified, making on-site distribution difficult.
A new bulk bag conditioner machine from Flexicon, a manufacturing and automotive firm based in Brimingham, looks to make this process much easier.
It is part of a number of tools, including pneumatic air hoists and electric chain hoists, designed to make warehouse distribution an altogether simpler process.
Flexicon's Block-Buster Bulk Bag Conditioner has two hydraulic rams and specially-contoured end-plates which press opposing sides of bulk bags, loosening material that has solidified during storage and shipment,
This means unloaders have the ability to discharge the material easily through bag spouts.
It features a cantilevered I-beam with motorised hoist and trolley that allows for loading and unloading of bulk bags without having to use a forklift – ideal for company's short on space and resources.
The hoist is also used to raise and lower bags and rotate manually, for conditioning at any height on all sides.
A number of safety features are also present. The conditioner is fully enclosed on all four sides for operator safety and includes full-height doors that interlock to shut down the system when the doors are open.
Flexicon's new system is designed for bulk bags holding hygroscopic chemicals, some spice blends, heat-sensitive products, and other materials that are prone to solidifying.
What's more, an optional variable height turntable allows for automated in-frame bag rotation and conditioning of bulk bags at varying heights.
Flexicon recently released a specification guide it said would make it easier for customers to select the correct flexible conduit and fittings for their application.
The guide features the company's most popular metallic and non-metallic flexible conduit systems.
