PING a worthy competitor!

Karsten Solheim started to make his own putters in his garage and soon enough their demand increased so much that he quitted his engineering job and started his own brand called PING which now produces irons, hybrids, woods, putters, and wedges along with other golf gear.

For a very long time Karsten continued working in his garage but this was before his resignation from his job. In the surroundings of his garage he crated “anser”, one of the best putters in the world. It is very efficient in its working. Soon after his resignation he shifted his work to a new factory which was on his name and started to create new clubs with efficient features. The PING started to rise and soon it was counted in world’s best golf equipment making companies. It started to make many other irons, hybrids, fairway woods and wedges. It was the PING who introduced the cavity irons which helps in making the right trajectory of the ball. It was a great hit internationally but soon was criticized as cheating equipment.

The allegation was that the cavity gives the player a new weapon or way to perform in a much better way than he can by any other iron or putter. Soon the use of cavity iron was banned in tournaments. It can be used only in simple or casual games but in any kind of competition the use of PING cavity putters or irons is illegal. The PING started to reach at the peak when many great golf tournaments were won by using PING clubs.

The PING name was founded on the voice which is made by the putter when it hits the ball. Karsten himself being a golf player started designing his putters because he found the putters available in market not so good. Recently PING has introduced its Ping G20 irons against TaylorMade R11S Driver and both are highly in demand and competing against each other. The PING is based in Pheonix, Arizona.It is a huge possibility that PING reaches on th top as no 1 ahead from TaylorMade Golf.
