HistoryOur company grows rapidly year by year thanks to the support of some Lombard qualified business organizations.In 2005 Qcom, together with Interactive, brings out the first wireless broadband offer dedicated to business sector.In June 2006 the new offices are inaugurated in Treviglio: a space of more than 700 m² equipped with the most up-to-date technologies.At the end of 2006 the firm counts more than 3500 business clients.In June 2007 Qcom announces the merger with Orobiacom S.p.A., an historic telecommunications company, owner of the ministerial license and a new generation telephone exchage.At   the   end   of   2007   Qcom   launches   a   new   service   called  VOIP.   It'a   a   professional   way   of communication reserved to companies which guarantees high standards of quality. Nowadays more than 5000 business clients are active in Lombardy and we manage more than 50 million phone calls each year.In   Dicember   2007   the   merger   with   Orobiacom   is   concluded:   Qcom  becomes   a   public   limited company with a share capital of € 600.000.In March 2008 Qcom launches Qcom Liberty, the new service that allows customers to get free from Telecom Italia. From now on our company can offer an indipendent service, alternative to Telecom.At the beginning of 2009 the firm starts an intense retcruiting program with the aim of increasing our market share, particularly in the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia.In September 2009, in partnership with Retelit, Qcom starts up the marketing of new wireless services called Wimax.In January 2010 Qcom brings out the so called “secure box”, it is an all-inclusive solution for small and medium-size industries dealing with information safety.
