Not that the product won't keep on selling, but it can give you the wrong impression at the beginning as to how much you will sell on a regular basis.
To start with, find out what your customers want and then supply it. If you do not know, then ask questions or survey your customers to find out exactly what they are looking for.
There are many ways to do free marketing, or at the least, marketing that does not cost very much, so find out where they are. On the internet you can use U-tube, Facebook, Twitter, articles directories or create a blog, to name a few. These techniques are especially good for home based businesses.
Look at ways to create customer loyalty. It could be by discount card or email contact, but make sure you are keeping in regular contact with your clients. It is much easier to get a previous client to buy than it is to get a new client to spend. Make a committment to put an hour a day into marketing yur home based business.
