Be very careful about carrying your equipment during the journey. It is always a good idea to book your own travel accommodations since you will be carrying all of that expensive and fragile equipment with you. It is important to mark them as fragile. On a more personal note, do visit a doctor before entering a foreign place and be very up to date with your vaccinations.
