DMRC Syllabus 2016 for The written test will consist of two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II, to be held on the same day in the same centre).
Paper-I will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions. The Paper-I shall be of 1.5 hours duration, with provision of negative marking for wrong answers, on General Awareness, English, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and knowledge of the discipline/trade. Guidelines: In the first section:– questions will be asked about General Awareness: (120 Marks). In the second section:-questions will be asked Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Ability.(120 Marks). In the third section:– English Language & Comprehension English language with special emphasis on grammar and vocabulary (120 Marks). There are Total 120 question in Each Section and each question carry one marks and there is No negative marking in this written exam.
Paper-II will consist of subjective type questions on Paragraph Writing, Comprehension, Essay and questions on Science & Technology matter. In English Medium to judge the candidate’s comprehension skills & test of English language. The Paper-II shall be of 1.5 hours duration. JE exam selection is based on the following steps: Written Test (two papers), Personal Interview, Medical examination.
