How do we handle an insult if someone inflict on us?  Do we not allow the insult to cause further insult on us? How should one relate and relieve from such situations?  Whether justified or not,How an insult is dealt by the skin and mind? Articles carrying an insult for long is self destructive emotion.

Insulting the subordinates and receiving insults from the superiors is what the way of life in most corporate.  Should the corporate employees be very sensitive and live & die with the same sensitivity or should they be highly insensitive and live & die with the same pattern of emotion?  What should be the best way out?

Learn from nature and learn how to handle an insult in the best progressive and growth oriented way.  What normally the corporate employees do when they receive an insult.  They keep poking the insult and make it as an injury.  Then, they further worsen the injury to a wound, sepsis and chronic ulceration.  The ulceration infiltrates and necrotizes the tissues in the adjoining area extending the damage and establishes its territory to a larger area.  Even if such ulceration could be completely healed, the scar or keloid at the site will be almost permanent, vivid & visible and it always reminisce the insult.  Is it worth coronating such an insult to a permanent scar and making it so obvious to the world that you were insulted and hence you got deeply wounded?

What is there for a man to learn from nature in this regard?  Gently look at the trees? If someone cut a branch, within days, from near the cut/insulted area, new branches would grow.  The moment a tree is cut/insulted, the growth hormones of the plants such as Auxin and Gibberellins get accumulated at the site of injury.  See the beauty of nature, the destruction (cut/injury) is acting as a precursor for growth and further development.

It is true in some animal world also.  The planaria or star fish show the same property. When you cut the animal, the cut portion will regenerate.  Even the skin exhibits high level of regenerating (meristamatic) capacity.  Why the skin that hold the body mass and the body mass that hold the mind handle the insult in very progressive way whereas the mind fail to do so. What a paradox, the skin regenerates when insulted while the mind degenerates with insult.

Why insult gets better recognition and space in people’s mind?  Why the mind offers its worship to all its insults on a daily basis?  Why mind never allow an insult to grow old or die but allows its body to die and decay even when it is very hale and healthy?

The profound message is not that people should celebrate the insult or be extremely happy about it, but necessarily learn to handle it in a very progressive way to success.
