Once you've completed your classroom-based or online LCSW CEU course or courses, you are well on your way to advancing in your field while staying current in your profession. Continuing education should be a part of growing in any profession, but it is particularly important for social work, because the field is always changing, growing, and expanding. You will be better prepared, both for you and your clients.
