Also technical support typically covers system ‘as is’ and if you are trying to customize it and use software support contract to force technicians to cover your modified business logic – it might be not feasible for the software vendor to deal with folks like you

Both SAP B1 and GP are hosted in Microsoft SQL Server and available on Microsoft Windows server and client. 3. SAP Integration project highlights. Generally it is not a great idea to use SQL Stored Procedures or Insert scripts in order to feed data into SAP BO company database tables. Why not? The answer is in the three tiers architecture. Application server is responsible for such routines as data validation, transactions committing or rolling back. If you are bypassing application server layer and insert records in raw SQL statements then there is the risk of data corruption. Business One provides integration tools with data validations such as Data Transfer Workbench and Software Development Kit. In version 8.82 there is new tool where would like to reserve some time for evaluation
4. How to locate technology consulting firm? This question is open ended in most cases. We would recommend think about the following criteria. Do we want somebody who is local or are we ready to accept remote support model? Do we want to work with individual programming professional or we rather would pick consulting firm with broader expertise? Remote support via web session is probably the first recommended answer as local consulting organizations might be more initial software licenses selling oriented and staffed with functional consultants who are not verbose to such technologies as Microsoft Visual Studio SDK C#, VB or Delphi programming
