When this become obvious, say to your target:
"Hey ____ , I want to show you something"
Then turn to her friends and say:
"Can I borrow your friend for a bit, I promise I'll bring her back"
This technique works because NO woman wants to appear to be controlled by her friends. Even if she's not TOTALLY into you, she'll be open to being isolated just to show that she's an independent woman.
Now once you're alone with her, you can continue your conversation and work towards getting her number and setting up a date.
