How using the wrong phone cases can actually harm your phone.

Processors and the batteries in our phone tend to heat up with use and while charging. The older the phone gets, more is its tendency to heat up. These are not be very sturdy and might not be able to take a big fall, but they are good enough for daily use and small falls, scratches and bumps.

Silicone cases are the worst to use because they cover the phone from all sides and do not let the heat escape.  However, these offer better protection from falls on hard surfaces. If you are using a silicone case, we recommend removing the case while charging the phone.
