Canada immigration at an all time boost

Canadian government is encouraging a new stream of immigration into this country so that they contribute more to the GDP of this country. It has the aim to bring almost 1 lakh new immigrants into this country by the year 2030 so that its current economic growth levels are sustained. And these number of immigrants are going to be brought into the country every year.

This kind of immigration in Canada is required so that the effects of an aging population in this country are not felt. The authorities feel that the aging population will also lead to the more expenditures in terms of health costs. There are high numbers of immigrants coming to this country and almost 3,20,000 have landed here till June 2016. The

 

The politicians are also urged to get more encouraging with solutions to bring in more through Canada immigration. The Canadians believe that with a high number of young immigrants,Canada immigration at an all time boost  Articles the econimic growth in this country can get a good boost.

The Canada immigration levels are motivated to increase because population of Canada which has an age of more than 65 years is going to form a high percentage of 24 from 16. Apart from increased immigration levels, Canada is also going to seek other solutions to reverse the effects of the population which is getting older day-by-day. The Canadian government is worried that the due to the againg population, the labor supply will decrease from 2 to 1.6 %. The government needs a boost in the GDP because the aging population is also going to put a huge pressure on the health care costs leading to financial deficits.

In the year 2006, a large percentage of the workin population of this country, which has an age of 15 years or more consisted of immigrants, while a higher percentage than 78 were from Canada. However, as per the statistics generated by the organisation Statistics Canada, after 10 years, the percentage of immigrants will increase to almost 24%, and that of those born in Canada, population has decreased as low to 74%.
