Dorm Life Is An Awesome Time

Heading to college is a really big deal. It is the time that you, as a high school graduate, look to the future for larger and better things for your life. The world is now going to open itself to you, and you are going to be right in the center of it. You have to pick the place you want to go to so you can get your education. And, one of the things you have to think about as a new college student is where you are going to stay if you are not going to live at home. You need to contemplate living in a dorm.
A dorm is a excellent place for you to start your college career. You, being a freshman, need to be in a location that is safe for you to live. A dorm will present you with that. You will be living in a place that houses over a hundred people or more that are just like you. They are nervous, anxious, and excited about commencing your college career.
There are so many things to like about living in a dorm. One of the greatest things about living in a dorm is that you will be able to make new friends. It seems scary to open up your life and live among a bunch of strangers. But they won't be strangers for long; there is always someone just like you who wants to be friends with you. Don't forget that since you are living in a dorm you will have at least one roommate who more than likely will be one of your closest friends and people you trust.
You get to share living quarters and maybe even a bathroom if you are lucky enough to have one in your dorm room. You share food, TV, and a joke or two. You get to navigate the great world of college with someone else just like you.
Dorms have entertainment too; they have pool tables and common areas where you can get groups of people together for watching movies. There are libraries where you can go and study quietly, and also very important, the laundry. You will like the idea of having a laundry in your dorm building. That saves you the time of having to go to the Laundromat. Food is good from the cafeteria, and there is lots of it. The dorm is a great place to live and be, every freshman should give it a try.
