The viva voce took place yesterday and the written exams were slated to begin on 22 May. “Since he did not stay at the college hostel, we had put him up at Hotel Uma in Mecheda. In the evening, around 7 pm, he said he was going out for a walk and would be back in some time. When he didn’t return after two hours, I became a little worried and started calling up his friends but no one knew where he had gone. I was out looking for him when I heard that a boy had committed suicide at Mecheda Railway station. I went there and found that it was Aziz,” said Aman Ali, Aziz’s brother.
