All these benefits assure that a personal vehicle is the most essential thing in today’s life. But what when you do not know how to drive, all these benefits go in vain. The first and foremost thing you need to do is learn how to drive.

There are two types of vehicles; manual and automatic. Driving an automatic vehicle is easy as the car is automated in terms of gears. Whereas, in the manual car you have to shift the gears to make it roll on the roads. Driving a manual car demands lots of care as you have to make the right balance of the clutch, accelerator and brake.

Here are a few tips that may help you drive a manual car smoothly:

The rights start:
The first step in driving is to start the car. Make sure that when you start the car it is neutral. This means that the stick is placed at the middle of the gear box. This ensures that the car will not pound up to the vehicle parked in front of your car. Now start the ignition.

The gear game
Now to start rolling your car you need to put on the first gear and smoothly accelerate the vehicle. Once you start, maintain the speed and keep adding the number of gears. Here it is important to know when to change the gear from lower to an upper grade or vice versa. It can be done considering the noise of the car.

Stopping the car
For stopping your car you need to press the clutch pedal and the brake pedal together. Take care while pressing the brake pedal; do not press it suddenly as you may get jerks. Press is slowly and gradually before you reach your stop and completely when you mark the spot. Pressing the clutch pedal is important as your engine may stop if you do not press the clutch pedal.
