When choosing the ideal way to diploma display case a college degree it's helpful to remember the place will be placed on. It is always helpful to go with a dark color that is not really sparkly and include a nice mild color mat to separate the border of the diploma from the frame. The other thing to take into consideration is the colors used in the diploma and how much do you intend to bring them up. Last but not least you need to take into consideration the type of glass you wish to put on it.
Black is the perfect choice of color for the diploma display frame of your diploma but the question is which black to use? The first step to answer this question is to figure out if you want to go with a very natural wood black or perhaps a solid black with no texture. While the solid black would look great inside a contemporary house the natural wood one will do better if you prefer a less contemporary decoration.
The tone of the black should not be gleaming as this would call too much attention to the diploma display frame instead of the diploma. The diploma display case should also not be too wide in thickness. The mat of the diploma frame should be a color that complements the page color of the diploma.
Most times the diploma is white so the mat should be an off-white color,
again like the diploma display case, you do not want something to gleaming. The mat will likely be what separates the diploma frame from the border of your diploma, the recommended length for this is three inches, a lot of diploma display case shops use four inches but this is not a well recommended separation length. Sometimes an internal border-frame is added to the mat also to give more decoration to the diploma, this could look nice if there is gold outlines in the diploma.
When speaking about glass the only real thing you wish to consider is if you want reflective or none reflective, the price difference between the two is not too significant. The other option you are able to with is plexiglass, this is a very nice choice as if it falls from the wall is harder for it to break and if it does break is much easier to clean up, the reflection from it's also not as much as from normal glass and can be a cheaper option depending on your area.
