LSBF in Singapore is happy to announce the launch of the new programmes that will be available for students from November 2011 - Conversational English and Business English.
London School of Business & Finance (LSBF) has recently announced two brand-new English short programmes at the Singapore institute – Conversational & Business English. These programmes are designed and delivered by with the highly qualified academics at LSBF.
Both courses are developed with busy students’ schedules in mind and help students to master the basics of business and conversational English in a short period of time.
Business English
This short course is for those students who want to grasp the essentials of business communication and get an advantage over competitors in today’s marketplace. Business English is aimed mostly at student’s writing skills. The lessons represent a balanced mixture of practical and theoretical knowledge.
The class builds on each individual’s strengths, thereby encouraging the development of personal style. The overall atmosphere in the class will however be non-competitive but conducive for learning as group discussions are encouraged to engage students in the learning process and be involved throughout the course.
Conversational English
The Conversational English course has been designed to help students to improve their speaking ability and confidence, with particular emphasis on fluency, communication and pronunciation. The course includes elements of grammar, active vocabulary building, face-to-face communication, group discussions, public speaking, word games, pronunciation, and question-answer sessions.
As a course assessment, students of Conversational English classes will be required to present and walk through a small presentation on simple topics and participate in group discussions with accuracy and confidence.
Conversational English and Business English will be conducted over 10 three-hour sessions & 13 three-hour sessions, respectively. Certificate of Attendance will be awarded by London School of Business & Finance upon completion of each course. Classes for Conversational English commence on 8 November 2011; Business English on 9 November 2011.
Places are limited for both programmes. To find out more about the class schedule and promotions, please visit English Short Courses at LSBF[O1] .
