Qualifications required for Bank Exams:

Banking sector in India comprises of commercial banks and also co-operative banks. Every bank holds diverse eligibility criteria for different positions.

Universally, the aspirants appearing for bank exams are required to be graduate from any domain for entry point officer cadre positions in most commercial banks.

State Bank and Other Nationalized Banks: The age limit for PO is max. 28 years and should be a graduate.

Examination pattern and admission procedure for Banking Exams

Foreign and Private Banks: Management institutes like, Xavier Labour Relation Institute, University of Delhi, IIMs, and University of Bombay make the choice. Candidates will go through orientation session for 3 weeks prior 6 month to 1 year, they hire as Assistant Manager.

Nationalized Commercial Banks: Promotion for these banks is done via Banking Services Recruitment Boards (BSRB).

Reserved Bank of India: For the position of Grade I examinations are administered across India. RBI examination comprises General Mental Ability Paper & English Proficiency Paper.

State Bank & Other Nationalized Banks: Written test & PI for PO recruitment is administered by the Central Recruitment Board.

How to Crack the Banking Examinations?

The whole paper consists of five different sections and, every section is equally important! If you’re good at English but incompetent at Quantitative techniques, there are 99.9% chances that you will not reach up to the interviews. So, the secret is to be a master in every section!

For Quantitative Techniques:

If you really want mathematics in your veins, then study the basics first.
