Today,The Unwritten Words of the Chleuh's - My Lovely Southern Family Roots Articles most tribal people try to coexist with and in the western world. This is both good but also bad, because if we westerners just keep forgetting, then what is a democracy really? And the tribal people need to tell each their stories, so we again can comprehend each family root in the world.
How many modern people know about the language called 'Tashelhiyt?
Yet 8- 10 million people speak it all over the world, and it has not been written for many centuries.
There are three Great Berber groups, of the great Tribal groups living in North Africa (around 1900).

The Riff Tribe living in the Riff Mountains; and the Senhadja (Touareg), who live beyond the Atlas and in the Sahara; and the Chleuh, that occupied
the great three spurs of the Atlas range.
It is thought that the Chleuh's (and the other two tribes) language descends from the Punic scripture, which was changed through the tools of war. It is a known fact that after the Punic wars (which the kingdom of Numidia partook in), that the Romans changed the name of the Phoenician (Latin) to the word we still use today 'Punic'. Actually this war was to be the end of many ancient systems and such, so we could become what we apparently are today.
Scholars today, call the Berber language for '"Tifinagh" which is based on the Académie Berbère (from the 1960's) which is a "modernized" version of Tifinagh.

The ancient language of the Chleu's and their writing system, are so fare unknown to modern people. This is mostly because of old dictators having through the century forbidden the tribe in writing it (No reason is so fare known to us for this). When the Arabic people invaded North Africa, they made new laws and forced them upon the tribal people, and hereby also ranking them to 'classes'. An Arabic person was seen as more 'Clean' than a tribal person, because the tribal people were also mixed with the south of Africa (pretty much the most ignorant statement that a human can ever make). Today modern scholars are really 'lost' concerning the tribal and Nubian Language, so they tend to not really talk about them. Wars led between people, will always make or history much harder to understand.
These Tribes speak many languages, because of their capability of adapting to their surroundings. My own family speak the language called 'Tashelhit', I don't know about the modern (western) way of spelling this name, because the pronunciation sounds like 'Das'h'lahit' (so this would mean that modern scholars think that their 'D' sounds like our ' T', which I don't understand how they do..)

How many people know that the people we today call 'Berbers' had a kingdom called Numidia? This kingdom existed a long side the Egyptians Ptolemy, dating from 238 - 148 B.C. (but they might be a much older people). Actually much evidence, suggest that the worlds nomadic tribes belong to the most ancient people.
The Kingdom of Numidia is a Berber Kingdom which existed from the time of 200 B.C up until the late 5th century, where the Arabs defeated them. Numidia was located in North Africa, and was many tribal people gathered together (pretty much like most cities still are). It was a Greek Historian Polybius that first took notice of this kingdom, which was located west from Carthage.

Actually I found one old book from 1890, where it states something very interesting, but something that if true, would explain some things. I did not write the whole chapter from the book, even thou it seems rather important to our time and misunderstandings of our modern world today. Even thou some things might seem to offend both the north as well as the south, I think it present an important lesson about all of our history.
It states:1
That the tenth chapter of Genesis is the oldest and most important document in existence concerning the origins of races and nations, and comprises all those with whom the Jews, in the course of their early history, have had any dealings, at least all those who belonged to the great white division of mankind. But in order properly to understand it and appreciate its value and bearing, it must not be forgotten that EACH NAME IN THE LIST IS THAT OF A RACE, A PEOPLE OR A TRIBE, NOT THAT OF A MAN (person).
Furthermore it states; Thus the name of the Assyrians is really 'Asshur' (who is the second son of Shem - the Bible *Genesis 10:22). Another famous nation, the Aramæans, are supposed to be so called because the name of their founder was Aram (the third son of Shem - the Bible *Genesis 10:22). The Hebrew's name themselves from a similarly supposed ancestor, Heber (He was a great-grandson of Noah's son Shem). These three nations, - and several more, the Arabs they could easily understand each other, and had generally many common features in looks and character.
- How account for that?
By making their founders, Asshur, and Aram, and Heber, etc., Sons of descendants of one great head or progenitor, shem, a son of Noah.
It also states (page 133); that St. Augustine, one of the Greatest among the Fathers of the church, pointedly says that the names in the bible represent "Nations, not men." (*Gentes non homines).
It is a mixture of these ancient cultures that the Chleuh tribe and other 'Amazigh' tribes descend from.
'Tribal' groups seem to come from many sources, going from South Africa to the Persian people. Egypt had a Berber Pharaoh named Shoshenq I. who started the 22nd dynasty (around 945 - 924 B.C.) They are said to have ruled Egypt for around 150 - 200 years, they are known to the Egyptians even in the Pre-Egyptian history records (around 2900 B.C.) These people either called tribal people or Nomadic people seem to have two crucial things in common, they are great at coexisting among every other culture. They don't settle in their roots like most other human do, which means they have a greater skill at traveling and planting their roots a different place.

More exact information about these people, are still unknown, and should be looked more into.
