Triveni Engineering and Industries today reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 12.07 crore for the third quarter of the 2011-12 on account of higher revenue and lower expenses.

The Uttar Pradesh-based company had posted a net loss of Rs 16.69 crore in the year-ago period.The total income rose to Rs 453 crore during the April-June quarter of this fiscal from Rs 418.28 crore in the year-ago,Triveni Engineering posts Rs 12 crore net profit ‎ Articles Triveni Engineering said in a statement.Engineering College ChennaiThe company's expenses remained lower at Rs 403 crore as against Rs 418.9 crore in the reviewed period.Engineering IndustryTriveni is one of the largest integrated sugar producers in the country, with a sugarcane-crushing capacity of 61,000 tonnes per day, 68 MW of power co-generation and 160 kilo-litres per day of distillery production.
