Education is an inseparable part of success. But this is not what poor people of Palestine think. Their safety and full stomachs are their own concerns. UNICEF tries to improve the situation in this poor country and give hope to those who seem to get rid of the faith in the greater good.
Education is an inseparable part of success and sophisticated Europe knows that. Unfortunately this privilege is not accessible to most children of the countries of the third world. Economically and politically exhausted, they are not capable to build a strong and solid system of education and take care of the citizens that inhabit dirty huts and caves being spanned by constant fear of danger and hunger. Gaza, one of the hottest spots of military and extremist action in the world suffers from regular terrorist acts and violence from the side of the authority. This region is called the “powder keg” of the world for a good reason. Most of the conflicts of ideological matters occur right in this region.
According to the investigation of the UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund), there are nearly 70,000 children in the Gaza Strip (http://www.exploratorium.edu). Representatives of the organization held a math test on the territory of the country. The result was a decline in learning that makes Palestine one of the lowest ranking countries in the survey. The quality of the educational services is hampered by restricted access and lack of essential supplies. These two factors leave Palestine with only nearly 30% of literate citizen and the number is decreasing due to the murder rate of adults that received proper education. Low rate can also be explained by the decline in education for girls and young ladies at Pakistan. Religion forbids women in Muslim countries to excel men in intelligence or power. This folkway was established before Christ and highly religious people of Muslim countries stick to strict adherence to this folkway. Though tries of the UN to improve the situation in this society are giving their fruit; some brave young women risk their reputation to get proper education to save their country from constant wars and violence. Another factor is lack of supplies, professional teachers, tutors and facilities. The political situation is very unstable and every day brings more frustration and devastation. There is hardly a building that hasn’t been marked by the violent actions of soldiers. The worst affected areas such as Al Mawasi and Juhr Edeek where the UNICEF kits would now go. The organization has prepared some useful educational and sports supplies for development of education.
The irony is in the complete ignorance of the biggest masses that feel sorry for poor peoples but think that it doesn’t touch them in any way. They quietly go to work, study and select problems in Palestine as discussion topics at classes. The reality is much harsher than just a naïve expansion of a history term paper topic. The UN and UNICEF and other organizations try to contribute to improvement and develop efficient strategies to strengthen the Ministry of Education and the faith of poor people that despite the situation that believe in happy ending of this war.
Teacher’s Ethics
Considering the fact that students spend a great part of their life at school, one may come to conclusion that schools contribute significantly into overall ‘quality’ of life of students. No wonder that personality of a teacher is of crucial importance; moreover, some teachers turn into extremely important people for the whole life due to the impact they make while teaching us. It is good if this impact is positive and brings motivation for students, however, it sometimes happens that teachers manage to spoil not only mood of a student but intrude into internal world, leaving unpleasant vestige there. What is the Main Function Schools Performs?
Studying at school is remarkable in several ways. For a lot of people a school becomes the first place where they get basics of education and, what is very much important, schools provide children with socialization. Actually, a child spends a lot of time at school, receiving not only knowledge but communication options as well. Indeed, nowadays schools perform social role to a very large extent and this social function is gradually taking the first place, putting educational function to the second place. How to Find Motivation for Oneself?
There is hardly a person who would perform a great work without some special impetus, some incentive, and some strong motivation to do that. Of course, we frequently have to do things we do not enjoy doing; we all have some obligations and duties. Furthermore, a lot of people work and do things that irritate and frustrate them, and it is all really sad, because a person does not get pleasure and the same work could be done in a better way…
