Types of CSCS courses:

The SMSTS course:

The SMSTS course is a site safety scheme targeted at site managers and supervisors that oversee the planning, organising, and control of affairs for construction workers on site. The SMSTS is a 5-day training course that is designed to equip people with the ability to implement health and safety regulations for their daily onsite activities as well as to ensure their supervision skills are top notch. The certificate obtained is valid for five years.

The SSSTS course:

The SSSTS course is tailored for construction workers that intend to develop a career in a supervisory capacity role. It is a 2-day course that is valid for 5 years in which individuals are trained to become responsible supervisors that can implement health and safety practices on site.

The HSA course:

HSA is an introductory course for newcomers to the construction industry. Participants are taught about construction hazards and how they can be controlled as well as steps towards achieving standards of safety for themselves and others onsite. Certification is valid for five years and this course can be completed in a day.
