NEW YORK, NY – Chelsea’s Agora Gallery will showcase the original works of Eduardo Ojeda in the exhibition "Metamorphosis." The event kicks off on November 11, 2017, and runs until December 2, 2017, with an opening reception on Thursday, November 16, from 6-8 pm.

A Symphony of Color,Eduardo Ojeda: Painting the Infinite Articles Texture, and Tone

Eduardo Ojeda's art is a masterful exploration of how color, texture, and tone can convey complex thoughts and emotions. His portfolio spans from portraits and landscapes to purely abstract pieces, each characterized by a unique blend of tranquility and dynamism. Ojeda's work oscillates between depicting the external world and an expressive inner universe, achieving a powerful balance. "I don't try to represent a landscape or a figure," Ojeda explains. "I'm more interested in how the mind reacts—stillness in observation, no analysis, no judging."

Diverse Media and Techniques

Ojeda's versatility shines through his use of various media. He employs the fluidity of ink on paper and the bold solidity of acrylics on canvas. His application techniques are equally diverse, utilizing brushes, knives, and even his hands to create a strong physical presence in each piece. Influenced by artists like Mark Rothko and Helen Frankenthaler, Ojeda infuses his work with a unique sharpness and clarity, making it distinctly his own. Currently, Ojeda lives and works in Mexico.
