Building Solar Panels for cheap-it is that easy

Congratulations on building solar panels for cheap and helping reverse the damage that we have done to our planet.  One of the easiest steps to help reduce greenhouse gases is to build solar panels because if you haven't noticed, sun is one thing that we have an abundance of. While it is true that it is easy to reduce your energy consumption by turning off lights, and shutting off computers and unplugging appliances, the net result to you personally is not a huge gain.

Think about it

Sure you might save a couple bucks every month, but at what expense to your sanity or sacrifice to your comfort of living? And guess what, when you do use that energy, which you inevitably will, you are still creating green house gases. While it only takes a few hours of your time to build a solar panel, you won't be making the switch to total self sufficiency right away. When I started out I would build a new solar panel about once every month or two so by the end of a year I had 8 panels on my roof. This has amounted to me reducing my energy bill by over 75%. I love getting my energy bill because I can see just how much money I save by using the sun to generate most of my electricity and hot water (I'll save the solar powered water heater for another article).

Lets break it down

You know those little solar lights that everyone seems to have in their yards these days? And you see those little tiny solar cells that are on top of them that capture the sunlight? Well imagine if you built something that had a hundred cells that size, and then imagine how much light that could power?

What if you spent all day sending that captured energy to a battery to store the power? Now what if you had 10 of these scaled up solar panels, think you could store a decent amount of electricity to use at night? You Bet!!

If you think about it in small terms, building solar panels for cheap is really quite simple and supremely beneficial to your wallet and to the environment.
