You can use this in the dishwasher or even in your laundry in exchange for any dishwasher detergent or liquids. Some people have also used Borax with a combination of vinegar and to unclog any drains. It won’t scratch any surfaces and you will be able to find it at your local grocery stores.

Here is a recipe to create your own home grown all-purpose cleaner.  You will want to combine all these ingredients in a spray bottle.  Take one quarter cup white vinegar, 1 tblspoon lemon juice, one-half teaspoon of dishwashing liquid, and two teaspoons borax.
