to end a marriage is known as a getting a divorce. In the days of the romans, they had a view of marriage that it should be free. This meant to them that they could leave the marriage if it did not work out for them. Later in time the views were markedly different, and people were to stay together and society looked down people getting a divorce. Today people have both of these views and are practiced.
There are higher divorce rates in American and European countries. These countries have more personal freedoms and a higher stress level than other countries. There are some relationships that are not worth saving others are. There are many reasons that people decide to get a divorce. They are all specific to the couple's relationship. These do not seem ordinary to the people that are going through a divorce.
A major cause for a divorce is a lack of communication. When these lines fail, sometimes no matter how hard a couple may try, they the feelings cannot be gotten back. There are no problem free marriages, and they all have good and bad times. They all have different priorities, and that is one cause of divorce not being able to come up with a happy medium to the differences. It is said that people that come from a broken home will end in a broken home or marriage. People that get married at a very early age may not make it and have an unusually high rate of divorce. Addiction, this is a tremendously large problem for couples. Drug addiction is only one addiction that can break up a marriage. There are gambling addictions as well as things like gaming or playing games online. Differences in child rearing can cause enormous problems between couples. Things as simple as changing diapers or feeding children can be disagreed on and create a huge rift between people.
Cultural and religious differences can force people into situations that they cannot tolerate, and if these are not discussed prior to the wedding they can be a reason for a breakup. Boredom is another prime reason for divorce. Couples get bored with their lifestyle this can be something that can be happening for years and suddenly comes to the surface. There can be abusive relationships where one of the spouses is physically or emotionally abusive to the other. They may put up with it for an unusually long time. It can take outside help for a spouse to get a divorce from an abusive partner. Many times a divorce will result in financial problems between couples. Over spending or one partner being to controlling of the other results in divorce. There many more reasons, some good some poor, but they are all valid reasons at the time.
