HOW FUE WORKS

Human hair grows from the small pores in the scalp called the follicles and due to some reasons these follicles get hibernated and stop growing. Even after the hibernation follicles remain alive and can grow.

In follicular unit extraction transfer the healthy follicles are shifted from the permanent zone to the bald portion where the follicles were hibernated previously. .

During the procedure healthy follicles that have resistance for the hair loss are selected and extracted individually one by one from the back head. These follicles are transplanted according to the required density of hair in the bald parts of the scalp. It is quite meticulous procedure so the for the procedure there is great need for experts and trained surgeons

With the great precision and adroitness, extracted grafts are placed in such a manner that the hair growth imitates the natural growth pattern of the existing hair. Before the FUE surgery

• Before the surgery you must take the detailed information about the treatment to prepare yourself for the surgical treatment
• If you are having habit of alcohol consumption then it is important to quit smoking and alcohol consumption 3 days prior to the surgery
• Patients are advised for taking the vitamin capsules before procedure
• Patients are asked to avoid the blood thinners or non-steroidal drugs like aspirin
• If you are patient of the high blood pressure or hypertension then you must tell your doctor and continue the medications for the problem even on the surgical day.

On the surgical day

• Patients are asked to visit the center in the morning with relax and calm mind
• Loose and comfortable clothes are recommended and to wear the clothes that can be button up rather than the high neck T-Shirts
• Patients are asked to wash their hair with regular shampoo but conditioner and gel or any other styling products are asked to avoid on the surgical day
• Patient must have the healthy breakfast before the surgery
• Caffeinated beverages must be avoided before the procedure as these can increase the sensitivity for the procedure.

After the procedure patients can go home without any difficulty and asked to visit next day for the hygienic hair wash. Patients must be determined for the after care of the graft which can add to the results of surgery and can prevent the potential risks associated with the procedure.
