When we say coat of paint, we refers to the leather which is painted on genuine leather or PU. It is glossy, natural, waterproof, moisture proof. At the same time, it is easy to clean. Because of its complex craft and high requirements, the prices of the products made of patent leather are higher than other products. In the market, many immoral merchants sell glossy layer to deceive the customers. They think those are made of patent leather. Many businessmen are very unethical. They use the glossy layer to replace the patent leather. In fact, they are totally different. Though the painting and polishing, we can get the glossy layer easily. Actually, the goods are beautiful. However, PU is leatherette, and it is not genuine leather. In simple terms, PU is called polyurethane and it belongs to artificial leather. Actually, PU belongs to a man-made composite material. It is similar with the real leather. PU is very cheap, but it indeed has a good quality. It is helpful for your choice if you can distinguish the various leathers.
