Game plan for coping with sun, summer heat and bugs:
1. You have to eat less.
Any excess weight is like wearing a winter coat in the sun. You need toe at less to sweat less. If you are strong eat a light breakfast (toast and jelly, butter, etc. and tea). Keep water with you until you eat lunch, which should be a full meal (meat or eggs or chicken or beans, grains, vegetables, fruit, etc.). Without a full meal, the sun will quickly drain and weaken you.
If you are weak and want to lose weight, eat some protein (eggs or chicken or turkey) with 3-5 cooked vegetables (cabbage, onions, carrots with or without tops, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.), spices (cardamom, cumin, coriander, fennel, turmeric, ginger, cayenne, etc.), fruit and or tea.
Spices, bugs and the sense of smell:
Most bugs, mosquitoes love the sweet and salty smell and taste
but hate the sour, bitter and spicy taste, smell.
Cooking with spices, eating spicy foods, herbs changes the taste, smell of the blood for more sweet and salty to less sweet, salty and more bitter, sour and spicy, three tastes that repel mosquitoes, bugs, etc.
Peppermint tea also helps as bugs, mosquitoes do not like its smell, but they do love perfume and women. Women have more blood and are therefore sweeter in smell and taste.
Common sense: avoid those times of day and humidity when mosquitoes and bugs tend to swarm.
