Osteoarthritis is a serious condition,

Some exercises you may want to try are walking, yoga, and swimming. Avoid exercising aggressively though as you may injure a joint.
Respect pain
Whenever you feel the pain, it is a strong sign that you are overdoing it and that you may need to stop and rest for a while. Overusing is not advised as it will stress the joints. Balancing rest and activity is best for healthy joints.
Avoid repetitive motion
Repetitive motion is basically doing the same action over and over, as a result caused too much stress on the joint. This is commonly associated with your job or with daily routines at home. To avoid this, always have proper body mechanics and try to vary your movements.
