Home remedies and tips for curing wrinkles
One problem area for wrinkles is around the eyes is what we call crow's feet. Cure is to wear sunglasses when you go outside.
- Sleep on your back. You can create wrinkles by sleeping on your side or belly, with your face on the pillow. For some people, sleeping on their back eliminates this problem.
- The best vitamins for your skin are B-complex vitamins, found in beef, chicken, eggs and whole wheat, and antioxidants. These vitamins help ensure healthy and young-looking skin.
- Excessive frowning or smiling, or any other much repeated facial expression, emphasizes wrinkles.
- Smoking is a double trouble for wrinkles. Puffing on a cigarette is essentially doing a lot of repetitive facial movements that add even more wrinkles.
- Apply egg whites to the skin under your eyes.
- Odor-free castor oil can be applied to the skin under the eyes or on that of the throat.
- Empty the contents of 3 Vitamin E capsules into a small bowl. Add to this 2 tsps plain yogurt, 1/2 tsp honey and 1/2 tsp lemon juice. Apply this mixture on the face using a cotton ball. Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse.
- A paste of turmeric made with sugarcane juice is great to get rid of wrinkles and slow skin ageing.
- Wash face thoroughly and pat dry. Using 100% cotton ball and 3% hydrogen peroxide lightly rub upward on the face. Let dry, then apply using a very SMALL amount of organic 100% extra virgin olive oil covering the face and neck. Works wonders.
- Apply coconut oil on the portions of skin and face where wrinkles set in and gently massage every night at bedtime.
- Application of lemon juice several times a day will fade away the blemishes and wrinkles.
- Rubbing the core of pineapple on the face and leaving it for 5-10 minutes will help in the treatment of wrinkles.
- Simmer half-cup rosemary leaves in 2 cups of water for about 30 minutes. Add half cup of brandy and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Strain the mixture and store it to wipe the skin twice a day.
