Articles it changes the game. Prescription medications are known to be a stronger and actually scientifically proven formula. Well currently in a waiting period before the FDA two such trial medications for obesity and could just be what many would classify as a miracle pill.

The names of these drugs that I am referring to are Lorcaserin, Qnexa and Contrave. Each one of these newly formed drugs offer hope for those who by other means can’t seem to take off the necessary weight in order to lessen their risk for weight related illnesses. Although some argue that these are just a lazy approach to weight loss, many doctors agree that this is not the case, that due to several factors, there are people who have an extremely difficult time trying to lose weight.

Each of these drugs has been through an array of clinical testing procedures which have gone on to show that there is something unique with each one in how it battles obesity. Both Qnexa and Contrave are actually a concoction of two presently existing medications. But it is the mixing of these chemicals in the precise amounts that make the right combination for maximum weight loss. Lorcaserin on the other hand is a new drug developed for obesity in mind. As with any drug, there can be side effects experienced by some of their users and as such the case reported with these three potential treatments. However, most in the clinical testing where able to continue with the treatment and considered the risk to reward ratio worth while. But in order for these to ever be available the FDA will have to make a decision if they are worthy or not. We should know towards the end of 2010 the fate of each.

What must be understood in all of this is that prescription medication of any kind must be taken seriously and respected. These or any drugs should only ever be taken as prescribed to an individual. If a certain medication has not been prescribed to you, there is probably a good reason including either you don’t need it or it could interfere with other medication you may be taking. Always and only ever take any medication as prescribed by a medical doctor.
