There always seems to be extremes to everything,Tell me I’m beautiful: The extremes of staying young and attracted. Articles and staying young and attractive is a prime example of these extremes. When thinking about the obsession to find the fountain of youth, you can see the extremes people will go to. We have the way obsessed, who will drop thousands upon thousands (sometimes even millions) on surgeries and lasers to tighten up their faces and remove those wrinkles. On the flip side, we have the people who would rather just let what nature intends to do happen.  Right stuck in the middle, are the people who take the time to care about their appearance but do not become overly obsessed. These are the product buyers and the home remedies users, and they are always looking for the best and safest way possible to stay as young as they can.

What we do not realize is that the fight to stay young has always been a concern of people since the beginning of time, but the different procedures we use are what have changed. In this century, we have used toxic chemicals and lasers to get rid of our wrinkles and laugh lines which have lead to people getting sick and in the worst case scenarios, possibly dying. It never used to be this way. Our ancestors used herbs and plants to fight the aging process, and although we do not know for sure it these worked, they were a whole lot safer than the wrinkle remedies we use today.

Your body is not used to foreign ingredients, such as Botulinum toxin (a toxic substance injected into the skin; other wises called Botox) or SLS (a common ingredient in cleansers and face washes that can damage your organs), so the outcomes could be very detrimental to your health.  The best route to go for your body is to stick to natural and organic anti aging additives, like an ingredient called Matrixyl which is new to the market. What I like about Matrixyl as an element in your wrinkle creams and serums is the fact that it is a peptide (amino acids linked together) and the fact that amino acids are naturally occurring in your body. So these wrinkle and line creams that contain this ingredient work with your body and not against it.

Whether it is obsession with the wrinkles around your eyes or the lines forming at the corner of your mouth, there is always another option then surgery and injecting foreign elements into your skin. Think before you act, take the time to understand your body, and what works well with you. Once you do this, finding the right substances for your body is a piece of cake.
