Ashtanga Yoga

If you attend an Ashtanga yoga class then you will be led to non-stop series of Ashtanga while you will be encouraged to breathe as you move from one pose to another. Each of the series is a set of sequence asanas that are always in the same order. It's basically fast-paced and physically challenging as well.
There are basically six series increasing the difficulty as you move from the primary series on. A typical class of the same usually moves quite quickly and follows the Mysore-style. In this kind of a class, you will be able to work on your own pace and you will be assessed by the senior instructors.
Power Yoga
Power yoga can be described as vigorous and physically demanding vinyasa style yoga. Originally it closely resembles ashtanga and it was an attempt to make ashtanga more accessible to the western students. However, it is different than ashtanga yoga because it allows the instructor to freely teach whatever they want.
Bikram Yoga
One thing that you can be assured of is the consistency when you join a Bikram yoga class. No matter where you join the class, Bikram yoga is same everywhere consisting of twenty-six postures and two breathing techniques. It is done in the same order for ninety minutes in a room heated to 40.6°C with a humidity of 40%. You can also be assured that you will sweat a lot as this style of yoga challenges you both physically and mentally. This yoga technique is founded by Bikram Choudhury and this is a style of yoga that is meant to flush toxins and manage weight allowing you to move more deeply into poses.
