Famous British Paintings

There have been some truly remarkable paintings from British artists since the Middle Ages and these stretch across many different artistic styles, movements and centuries which underlines the way in which his country has impressed in a variety of ways and it also continues to move further towards the more influential areas as art continues to push forward ever more. Whistlejacket remains in the National Gallery where it holds a prominent position which reflects the great qualities which can be found in it, and these have always been known by academics ever since the career of this great painter finished.
