Michael Jackson, the king of the Pop was one of the greatest singers in the world. Although he left us, he and his music will live with us forever. Much love to Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson left us about one and half years. It is quite regret that we could not watch her last concert. I even bought one ticket. I kept it as a memento. I listen to his music and feel that he was still with us. But he left us for quite a long time.
Michael Joseph Jackson was born in August 29, 1958 in an Africa American family. He was the eighth of ten children in his family. In 1964, Michael and Marlon joined the Jackson Brothers—a band formed by brothers Jackie, Tito, and Jermaine—as backup musicians playing congas and tambourine. Jackson later began performing backup vocals and dancing. When he was eight, Jackson began sharing the lead vocals with his older brother Jermaine, and the group's name was changed to The Jackson 5.
In 1982, Jackson contributed the song "Someone In the Dark" to the storybook for the film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial; the record won a Grammy for Best Recording for Children in 1984. In the same year he won another seven Grammys and eight American Music Awards.
Jackson was referred to as the King of Pop. He was an American recording artist, dancer, singer, song writer, and philanthropist. He was recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time by Guinness World Records. His great contribution to music, dance and fashion, along with a much-publicized personal life made him a global figure in popular culture for even four decades.
He wined hundreds of awards during his life. He was a genius in music, dance and performance. He contributed great to the world’s peace and elimination of racial discrimination. His fans are not only black people, but also white and yellow people. He must be the only one who has billions of fans. And there would be another billions fans will follow him.
The world has been influenced by Jackson. And he will influence the world the next hundred years. He had his own music style. He created unique dance. Although he left us, there are still a great number of people are following him. Even the little children around the world can dance like Jackson. And there are still a great amount people learn his dance and music.
Although some people would crazy about his Beat It, sometimes I would prefer to enjoy his Heal the World. It makes me quiet when I listening. It is a good way for me to relax when I felt tired. His music helped me a lot during the hardest time of my life.
I collected all items about Michael Jackson to memorize him. I tired to keep him with me. My friend gave me a wine bottle shaped umbrella as my birthday gift. I was so surprised that there was a photo of Michael on it.
I wanted to see the antigravity lean, see him go en pointe after his legendary moonwalk and swift spin. But I could only him by watching his MTV. I watched his concert over and over. I missed him so much, but I guess God needed him more than we did. It could be for the better, though, because I know in my heart that nothing would have killed him more than to not be able to do the moves or hit the notes we all know and love. Much love to you, Michael. Say hi to the greats for me.
