Scrapbooking Is A Great Hobby

Many people do not want to try scrapbooking because it is time consuming or they think they are not creative enough. Scrapbooking is not just about creativity but having fun. There are many reasons why people should try scrapbooking like to spending time with loved ones; it preserves memories and is a great hobby. 
It is important that people take a moment to spend time with family. It could be immediate family or long distance family. A great way to come together is to have a scrapbooking gathering. It is lots of fun and can create lots of conversation while being creative. Scrapbooking is also something kids really enjoy doing. It allows kids to be creative and messy at the same time. It is also great to get together with friends once a month to scrapbook as a great fellowshipping time. Traveling to different scrapbooking shows, stores and parties is a good adventure to share with friends. 
A very important reason to do scrapbooking is to preserve memories. Pictures last a lot longer in scrapbooks because of the material of the paper. The pictures do not fade away like they can do in a regular photo album. Scrapbooking also allows the person to write little notes beside each picture. The notes can include the day or event the picture was taken. It is also good to make note of the emotion the person was feeling on the day of the photograph. Scrapbooking allows the person to remember every aspect of an important event. 
Creating a scrapbook is a great hobby. Doing crafts is a great way to relieve stress by taking the person's mind off of the issues of life. It can be very relaxing and rewarding to create something by hand. Scrapbooks come with many different themes like baby showers, weddings, sports and birthdays. There also miscellaneous themes like different colors, shapes and sizes. People can scrapbook about anything including gardening, for example. There are many styles of letters, stickers and art stencil that can be used to decorate a page of a scrapbook. A bird watcher who wants to put together a scrapbook, for example, will probably choose a book with birds on it. Then choose décor to match the book like bird stickers and stencil. The person could also add their own décor like different types of bird feathers or bird seed to tape and glue in the book. The bird watcher now has two great hobbies instead of one. 
Everyone should try scrapbooking at least once. It can turn into something that many people will love to do as a hobby. It is a little time consuming but doing it with friends and family is a great way to pass the time. A person can save memories and make more memories while scrapbooking.
