Blogger.com offers possibly the easiest way to start a blog. It is different from other blogging platforms as it does not require you to have web space and install the blog software. Blogger simply needs to visit the website and create an account and then build a blog as you wish.

You can create a blog in almost fifteen minutes and can also provide themes and designs in a way that you can customize and make it look attractive to the human eye. So blogger has its advantages and can sometimes be a good solution, if it is too uncomfortable or forced to take a free hosting. If, for some reason, you need to blog as soon as possible it would be advisable to use blogger.

They are limited by rules and decisions and anytime if they want they can close your blog regardless of the hard work that had to be done. Like add quality content and building traffic. If you have spent two years developing your blog, then it will be a painful to lose everything and usually there is nothing you can do.
However, that's not the only problem with biggest problem's other issue is that it is quite inflexible. It gives you some widgets, templates, but it doesn't have a wide range as it does in other platforms like wordpress.
Using Wordpress as your blogging platform
The platform is perhaps the most popular and most used by users. What makes it the preferred platform for all is its ease of use and the possibility of owning a blog (unlike blogger who can be eliminated by others) and is very customizable.
With a wordpress blog can do whatever you want, from a simple blog or ecommerce store that incorporates many features.
It has thousands of templates to choose from at your convenience some are free and others are paid. There are also thousands of widgets that can be added to improve functionality or to make money.
To use wordpress or blogger also depends or other factors like, what you want to do with your blog. If you just want to share some picture and want to use it as a dairy, that you want to share with your friends and family members, then blogger would be an excellent choice. You really don't have to worry about the space or bandwidth as Google provides sufficient space to each user.
However, if you wish to have a business blog, or you are thinking to earn money from your blog, a wordpress would be a better option. Though starting a blog and maintaining it require a lot more efforts and skills. It really takes long to get noticed by others and to be successful.
