Making Money With Google Adsense-2 Critical Factors You Must Not Ignore

In this article I look at the Google Adsense program and tell you why you ignore it at your peril as a great source of income. There are a few basic ground rules that you will need to be aware of but I will give you the critical information that you need without the fluff or superfluous material.

1)    Google’s Terms of Service
The first thing you need to do if you decide to participate in the Google Adsense program is to have a good look at their terms of service. There are many practices that can lead to your account being banned  such as clicking on your own ads, encouraging others to do so or paying for traffic to your site with a view to increasing your adsense clicks.

Adsense provides great opportunities for any online blog or website owner and it would be absurd to invest a lot of time building sites to optimize Adsense income on multiple blogs to have all of your work trashed because of your lack of knowledge in relation to their terms of service.

If you publish good content and provide value for any visitor to your site, then you should have no problem with Adsense.

2) Site Design
The next critical factor to consider when you wish to maximize your Adsense income is the design of your site. To maximize your click through rate, that is the rate at which ads are clicked versus the number of times the ad is served up(impressions) you need to design your site without any bells and whistles.

By this I mean your site needs to be minimalist with the least number of distractions and other opportunities for your visitor to click off your site because your desired outcome is to have the visitor click on an ad.
