Just consider the theme of the rest of the room before you choose how to decorate your new medicine cabinet.

Of course, you can also line your counter with cute baskets and boxes that can hold small items. Consider buying them in the colors that would match the rest of the bathroom, or paint them yourself if you are artsy at all. They can allow added storage while adding to the décor for a small price. 

Decorating a room can be fun, but it is even better when the decorations are all functional as well as pretty.
