With this arrangement, you can ensure that the water stays within the shower enclosure and also away from the door. Never install a shower head projecting in the direction of the door.
• There are protection limitations specified for tempered glass. The minimum width recommended for a tempered glass panel is 5 inches. Hence never incorporate a glass panel smaller than 5 inches wide.
• It is not advisable to use glass tiles in the area of the shower where the glass enclosure is to be mounted. Though they might not crack during the time of shower installation, there are chances that they crack eventually over a period of time and hence this idea is never safe.
• Never design the shower enclosures in unconventional angles. All the shower door hardware is designed to go well with 90 degrees, 135 degrees or 180 degrees only. The same principle applies for walls, curbs, tub decks and knee walls too.
• When you construct a soffit or when you tile a ceiling above a shower, do it perfectly in the right level and plumb to the curb. If this is not done, then you risk the inconsistency of the reveal above the shower door.
