You can use garden timber tiles clipped or simple floor boards but always make sure timber is the eco friendly way pressure treated and coming from responsible forest management (FSC) either pine or tropical trees. Make sure to create a naturally beautiful and sturdy floor to walk barefoot giving you the sense of ideal temperature for maximum enjoyment.

Dream of it and go for it…  Here you are at the nearest shop with outdoor products like pergolas,Easy-To-Make Outdoor Floor Articles gazebos, trellis, fences, furniture and of course timber and decorative. If it is a DIY shop go to the floor section, make sure you know the square meters you need to ‘floorish’ and then buy the pieces you need. If there is a shop with customer service tell the guy to collect the timber for you, it’s not that light anyway. Remember to buy all timber needed for a well constructed floor base. Take care for the base timber to lie on a flat concrete surface or flattened ground and choose impregnated or pressure treated timber certainly which doesn’t rot. Have no second thoughts as long as timber would be under water cover literally for many months to go! You don’t want see your floor rotting within a few years, no!

You can also choose the color and the design that suits you better. Never mind if there are only a few colors, you can always buy the water based paint you need with the color you like and that’s it! Ohh…don’t forget to buy a brush in case you are so excited with the idea of having a super magic floor this evening. Hey, what about the bolts you need? I suppose you do owe a drill by now…

Another dilemma you may have while strolling around the shop is where in God’s name should I build my floor now? Well if you’ve been dreaming about it, you should know by now… You may not be sure if you should build it by the pool or to the porch or by the swimming pool or to the gazebo or along the pathway. There are so many lovely options and I do sympathize you. Please do stay cool and think again about your outdoor floor wherever or everywhere!
