The most popular choice for bedding year after year are always the plain colors white and cream.

These colors are probably the best choice if you have already chosen the color scheme of your room and are having difficulty finding a good match. Sometimes it's better to be unpredictable and have the second or third most popular color than to have the colors that every other bedroom is wearing this year specially if you are looking for contemporary bedding.
