Vapor tight fixtures:

  • No need to replace complete fixture, only tube can be replace (less expenseive).
  • Flexibility in color temperature choice.

As compare to fluorescent, LEDs are most likely technology as its less cost consuming and using less energy to provide same brightness output. But still there are people who prefer fluorescent technology so we can't force anyone to buy something we like or suggest.
